Public Information Centre #1 – July 28, 2009
The first PIC provided a study overview for all three sections. The PIC also included, for Sections 1 and 2, the assessment and evaluation of highway improvement alternatives and the recommended improvements for review and comment. The PIC was held as follows:

Public Information Centre #2 – May 26, 27, and July 24, 2010
The second PIC was arranged to present corridor alternatives for Section 3 (from west of Rush Bay Road to Kenora).
Two PIC sessions were held, and due to public interest, a third session was scheduled.

Public Information Centre #3 – October 2, 2010
The third PIC was arranged to present route alternatives for Section 3 prior to a preferred route being selected. Based on information gathered and comments received at PIC sessions in May and July 2010, the project team completed an initial screening of route alternatives for Section 3. PIC #3 was arranged to present these alternatives.
The PIC was a drop-in style open house session to allow members of the public to review display material and discuss the study with team members. A brief presentation took place at 10:00 am, 12:00 pm and 2:00 pm. The PIC session was held as follows:
